Winter Training Information

Oshkosh United strives to provide soccer training options during the off season for players that want more training. We realize that some players are involved in other activities in the winter and we also realize that some players just want some time off so all winter events are optional. Our winter training program typically consists of small group training in OASD gyms as well as optional open fields or scrimmage games at the UW-Oshkosh Rec Plex dome (full size turf field with an inflatable dome over it).
 

Winter Training Small Group Training Schedule by Age Group

Please click on the links below to see the dates and times of the small group training. We are using Sign Up Genius this year to manage our winter training. When you are signing up, you can select every session your child can attend at one time without having to sign up for each session individually. You will be able to see what events you have signed up for and you will get a reminder email two days before the event. To ensure we have an optimum playing environment we are capping each small group training at 8 players. If you register and can no longer make it please cancel the registration by visiting the registration page and clicking on the "Change your sign-up" text.

Each training will cost $10. Families will be charged half way through winter training and then after winter training concludes. If a family registers for an event and takes up one of the available spots and then does not show up the family will still be charged for the event. It is critical that families cancel any sessions they are not able to make so others have the opportunity to train in the off season.

When filling out the Sign-Up Genius registration, please put the player name so we know who is coming.

Winter Training UW-Oshkosh Rec Plex Time

In addition to the futsal training in the OASD gymnasiums, we have rented time at the UW-Oshkosh Rec Plex Dome and will hold various activities on a few different dates. The Rec Plex is a full field turf field that can be a 11v11 field for U13 and older teams or it can have two U11/U12 fields or four U10 fields. Players can wear regular cleats inside the dome and the temperature is around 60 degrees.
